Spice

£500.00

This beautiful, unique set of reprints (originally dated 1888), depict various spices viewed under a microscope: White mustard, cloves, allspice, black mustard, cinnamon and black pepper berry. Interestingly, the microscopist who developed these spice studies, predicted that fingerprints would be used in criminal convictions.

The prints are framed and mounted in a playful variety of colours, and are available as singles, multiples or as a whole set.

Please note, these are reproduction prints, not the originals. All our reproductions originate from antiques carefully sourced by Petri Prints.
