Gardening Pair

A pair of gardening themed reprints depicting plants in garden cloches and a series of gardening tools. The originals of these prints were published in the early 1800s by a notable natural history author. Cloches (bell-shaped glass covers which act as mini greenhouses), became particularly popular during the 19th century and were often seen in walled kitchen gardens of country houses.

Each reprint is hand-framed in a gold leaf frame - and mounted in a wheat linen and sage double accent mount.

All our reprint collections are limited in number, hand framed, glazed with Artglass -  and originate from antiques specially sourced by Petri Prints.
