Oslo: Original 1940s Nordic Map

A striking original illustrated coloured map of Norway's capital city, Oslo - published in the 1940s. Depicting key places of interest, figures in traditional costume, cultural references and decorative embellishments. 

Hand framed in a bevelled natural wood moulding - with a thick off white main mount and delicate cobalt blue accent border. 

All frames are the same size as each other on the wall, so maps could be hung as pairs or wider sets if desired (although equally striking as a stand-alone single).
