The Classical Column (Larger Scale)

Following many requests for larger-scale artwork for children's bedrooms we are so pleased to offer our first large-scale reprint. This uses a specialist framer's acrylic glaze we are very happy with, that is safe to transport and hang (as well as being 99% UV filtering - preserving your artwork). 

Our piece is directly based on a painterly, miniature antique 1800s engraving depicting a classical column adorned with vine leaves and set in a decorative shield. 

Hand framed in an off-white linen mount with a pale mustard accent border and olive green frame. This piece would work well in a children's bedroom/playroom, but of course could work in many areas of the home. 

While many large-scale poster prints elsewhere are framed without mounts, we felt strongly we wanted to offer an elevated option in this field, using double linen mounts, for added depth, texture (and a protective air gap between the artwork and glazing). 

All our reprint collections are limited in number and originate directly from antiques personally sourced by Petri Prints.
