The Sailing Boats

£115.00

A whimsical, framed print depicting people sailing and rowing along a coastline under cloudy skies. Directly based on a 18th century etching which was sketched by an unknown artist in the 1730s. This artwork also has our own addition of a beautiful rust-red pattern taken from an 18th century playing card (which we've printed on the same paper as the boating scene to act as a playful decorative border). Hand framed in our favourite soft antique white mount and a deep navy wooden frame, with a pointed profile.

All our reprint collections are limited in number and originate directly from antiques personally sourced by Petri Prints.
