We use a specialist glass called Artglass for all our pieces (unless requested otherwise). Artglass is used by museums and galleries around the world. It's more expensive compared to standard float-glass, but it features an anti-reflective coating that reduces glare and limits damage from UV light - making the glass almost invisible.

Sometimes people might request an acrylic glaze for larger pieces, or for safety reasons. We have a good acrylic option which is UV filtering and behaves in a similar way to normal glass with regards to glare. 

We are really passionate about creating meaningful collections with unique framing, directly inspired by historical antiques. 

Our collections are special reproductions made directly from original antiques sourced by us for our private archive. We have a list of dealers and auction houses we work with around the world, often embarking on a very purposeful hunt but we also come across gems in unexpected places.

Rosie designs the framing for the collections using inspiration from antique patterns and her own hand block printing to embellish artwork, which is then printed on renowned Hahnemühle fine art paper, glazed with premium Artglass and hand framed in England.  

We don't ever buy digital art, use AI or base our reprints on anything other than the original old engravings. 

If you love the prints in a collection, but are not quite sure about the framing, we'd be very happy to make framing changes bespoke for you. This might come with an extra cost depending on the changes made, or materials swapped to. 

Yes. Our Antiques are the centuries-old, original engravings. These might be hand framed on our website for sale as one-offs, or sourced and framed for you via commission as a complete service. 

Because our antique stock is limited, new drops depends on our sourcing journeys. To get advance notice of antiques before they are widely advertised, we recommend signing up for our newsletter at the bottom of our website. 

We don't currently offer stand-alone framing being such a small business. But we do offer a full sourcing and framing service (where we'd both source and hand frame a piece for you) via our bespoke commissions.

Yes of course. Our artwork makes beautiful, timeless gifts and we'd be happy to add a gift note if you pop over an e-mail after ordering. We never include price receipts inside the packaging.
