An antique original copper plate engraving depicting London's Richmond (titled View of Richmond from the River). This antique is from a wider series of original views from the 1700s that we've acquired. Hand framed in a striking pale blue colourblock style to anchor the intricate illustration and glazed with Artglass.

These charming scenes are from an 18th century traveller's account of life at a time of rapid expansion and exploration around the world. Parts of London today used to be much more rural and these beautiful images provide snapshots of life over 200 years ago.
