An antique-original map depicting the Bay of Bengal (Gulf of Bengal) - the northeastern part of the Indian Ocean bordered by many countries in South and Southeast Asia. This map which contains its original hand colouring from the 1700s, includes parts of India, Bangladesh, Myanmar (Burma), Sri Lanka and the tip of Indonesia (the Island of Sumatra).
Hand framed in a sea green mount with a linen accent border. Set in an natural wood (oak) moulding that's been hand stained.
