The Galloping Horse

A dynamic piece depicting a horse (and rider) galloping at great speed. Our reprint is directly based on an original 1600s etching by an Italian printmaker (brought into our private archive - known for his lively scenes of everyday life  

Hand framed in a textured rust-orange mount with a soft linen accent border and a curved antique cream moulding. The orange has a beautiful earthy tone and is perfectly balanced by the smooth off white moulding and rustic linen.  

All our reprint collections are limited in number and originate directly from antiques personally sourced by Petri Prints.
